Boustrophedon: read text left to right, then right to left. 1050: bi sheng - moveable ceramic type. 13th century: wang zhen - movable wooden type. 1377: goryeo dynasty in korea - first metallic type. 1530s: typefaces move away from calligraphy; roman letter forms based on geometry. 19th century: letterforms now open to manipulation. *distance between ascender and descender: determines point size. All fonts used during creation of job must be supplied to client (package files + fonts) Fonts that are identical and can be downloaded on both mac and pc.
