One of most amazing building programs in egypt: recognizable figures, large in scale, came to throne young, ~12 years old, reigned 38 years, married to tiye. Not a royal birth; not royal descent. Yuya and tuya buried in valley of the kings. Mother gets king"s mother of the great royal wife: foreign policy centered on peace, stability. Year 1 and 2: amenhotep iii opens new limestone quarries at tura.
