There are two problems with breeding animals for pets: breeding defective animals, breeding excessive animals. Education / reaching the public is an important method for reducing the number of unwanted animals. Black humor something that is done to help cope with all of the pain and suffering that humans go through when having to euthanize animals. The term no kill shelter is misleading because they will not take in animals which are not desirable for adoption. These animals then end up in other shelters, where they are euthanized. The same number of animals are being euthanized.
