Can handle only one attention consuming task at a time. Not effective to listen to music with words while studying. No words? extraverts can do okay listening to music without words while studying. Assumption: holding cell phone is more dangerous than actually holding the conversation. 4x more likely to die if you are holding/talking on the cell phone. 3x more likely to die if the cell phone is hands free. What about passengers in the car? if something happens on the road then the passengers are more likely to moderate their conversation based on whats happening on the road. Teens: not okay easily distracted by passengers in car. 25x more likely to die if you are texting and driving.
