Accent/dialect & lessac (vocal centering (a lot like chekov); the tonal quality changes based on where people are from; the instruments in an orchestra have letters/sounds associated with them) An accent is the way that a particular person or group of people sound; the way somebody pronounces words, the musicality of their speech. A dialect describes a person"s accent and the grammatical features of the way that a person talks. Audition: usually will perform a monologue and/or singonly for like 2 minutes. Callback: the first cut; you get scenes from the play; can you take direction/work with others. Table work: read through script, learn about your character and set.
