Sympathetic nervous system (noradrenergic) is damaged, causing orthostatic hypertension. Lesions are not restricted to dopaminergic cells, nor to brain. Lewy bodies (comprised of actin & alpha synuclein) found in 1/3 patients that develop dementia.
