National security council: links the president"s foreign and military policy advisers. President, vp, secretary of state and secretary of defense. Council of economic advisers: 3 member body appointed by the president to advise on economic policy. Office of management and budget (omb: prepares the president"s budget, advises on & reviews proposals. First lady: no official position, but they write, advocate and advise.
