Inattentional blindness - it is not change blindness because the gorilla is in the picture the whole time. Ignore people, objects, events on contra-lesional side. Deficits in object-based attention in balint"s syndrome after bilateral parietal lesions. Locks into an object and cannot engage in another. Attention seems to be allocated in space . Sometimes attention is object directed or locked onto an object . Attention is biased to the right side of space (as we have said) However, once attention is engaged by an object, attention can follow the object to the neglected side of apce. The neglect of one side of space is object oriented.
