Liberalism: human beings are free by nature; there is no such thing as a natural form of authority (authority can be justified if it is necessary to protect us from harm by others) Government is a limitation on your freedom - tells you what to do and what not to do. We consent to the existence of government because of security. If government limits your freedom for any other reason, it is not acting as the purpose for which it was created.
