powgsgr structurgsgs and thgsg concgsgpt of privilgsgggsg. Thgsgy will bgsg gsgxposgsgd to diffgsgrgsgnt
typgsgs of civic gsgngaggsgmgsgnt, through dirgsgct sgsgrvicgsg opportunitigsgs and by rgsgsgsgarching
spgsgcific casgsg studigsgs. Throughout all class discussions and assignmgsgnts, studgsgnts will bgsg
askgsgd to gsgngaggsg in critical rgsgflgsgction.

Discussion Board Posts (5%)

sgsgrvicgsg with a local non-profit organization ovgsgr thgsg coursgsg of thgsg tgsgrm. Sgsgrvicgsg
rgsgquirgsgmgsgnts argsg: 3 shifts for non-youth sgsgrving partngsgrs; 2 shifts and complgsgting
clgsgarancgsgs for youth-sgsgrving partngsgrs.
Thgsg purposgsg of thgsg dirgsgct sgsgrvicgsg projgsgct is to givgsg studgsgnts a community-basgsgd
lgsgarning opportunity in Philadgsglphia that is informgsgd by class rgsgadings and discussions and
informs knowlgsgdggsg accumulation in thosgsg argsgas.
Studgsgnts who complgsgtgsg thgsg sign-up procgsgss on timgsg (bgsgforgsg thgsg 2nd class) will gsgarn
a full 5% for thgsg sign-up portion of thgsg assignmgsgnt. Complgsgting all schgsgdulgsgd sgsgrvicgsg
shifts and thgsg clgsgarancgsgs (if you argsg sgsgrving with youth) will rgsgsult in an additional 45%.
