(direct orders from an organization, doesn"t mean they aren"t influenced, just means they aren"t being instructed to perform the attack) As opposed to either large support networks and levels of command and control: they might claim to be linked to another organization, but you cannot find any chain of command connection. Loners: an isolated individual: they are moved for reasons of rage or anger, uni-bomber is a great example of this. Lone wolves: a connected individual to an ideology or movement: but are not under orders by that movement to do anything. Lone wolf pack: an affiliated individual, etc: small group of friends, but they are self-motivators, not part of any wider administrative system, leaderless jihad is a great example. Lone attacker: an individual assisted, etc: has provided material support of an attack, or is in some way supportive of those carrying out an attack, enablers.
