Being in a hurry is a potential cost (the professor may be mad) More likely to help a physically attractive member of the opposite sex- rewards of helping someone whose attractive are greater than helping someone not as attractive. Much morel likely to give help to someone we are in a communal relationship with- greater rewards. Cannot call on an exchange person to help you in the future. More likely to help when we"re in a good mood because it keeps us in a good mood. When we"re in a bad mood we help because it puts us in a better mood. Young kids don"t do this because they haven"t learned helping makes you feel good.
