Generalization of the 2 sample t test to any number of samples (#>2) Earlier: sample mean and how it"s distributed in a t distribution when inputting standard deviation. Experiment: among participants, depending on region, they would react different when insulted. Explanatory variable 1: region of origin for white male participant (north, south, or west. Explanatory variable 2: level of insult (bump and no insult vs. bump and asshole comment) Response: level of testosterone, measured as a % change. Hypothesis 1: participants who had been insulted would show a higher level of ard en est. Hypothesis 1: participants who had been insulted would show a higher level of testosterone than do participants who had not been insulted.
