A storyboard is a visual layout, or plan, of the entire animation, film, or game. This is done only after the plot and structure are written. It charts the action in a sequence of drawings, much like a comic book, only more detailed. It presents the story and style of the animation, film, or game. A storyboard artist is part director, part designer, part writer. Storyboard artists work through a pipeline process, similar to that of an animator. The events and actions are visualized very roughly. Although the sketches are not highly detailed, it allows the director to make sure their. It might even be drawn on the script itself, to give the story some flow. vision is heading in the right direction. Once a roughly good idea of how the project will flow, a rough storyboard is drawn up. The drawings here vary in size and quality.
