To make the n7 logo on the side of the helmet, begin by making a small rectangle with the. Make sure that autogrid is turned on so you can make the box directly on top of the head band. Rotate and move it around until it matches the reference image. Open up the materials editor and make a new standard material. Drag in the n7 logo image, and connect it to the diffuse color option for the n7 logo material. Delete the polygons on the back, as we do not need them. Shift-drag the logo to the other side of the helmet as an instance. Rotate and move around until it mirrors the first side. Name the objects n7 logo and n7 logo002. Make a new layer and name it n7 logo. Drag the logo objects into the new layer. Now we just need to add the final piece along the jaw and in front of the chin.
