Learning theories are conceptual frameworks, helps explain how knowledge is absorbed, process, and retained. Conceptual framework: a collection of linked assumption, principles, and rules that hold together ideas comprising a broad concept. Learning theories try to clarify how relatively permanent changes in behavior occur.
