Highly skilled and motivated members exhibit behaviors that have a strong impact on attracting and maintaining customers. They also support the interest of the organization in the local community. The purpose of the human resources department: plan, acquire, and maintain the skills, quality, and motivation of members consistent with fulfillment of the organization"s mission. The human resources department (hr) is there to provide assistance to the manager in ensuring that the efforts of employees are directed toward meeting the organization"s objectives. In this way, hr facilitates the work of the organization by addressing issues related to the organization"s most important resource. Human resources should anticipate the types of difficulties and needs that may arise and communicate the availability of assistance they offer.
