Eros: life instinct [enormous amounts of energy associated with it energy dedicated to self-preserve (libido) and sexuality] Everything baby does is using their energy to survive. We come into the world as babies who are sexual beings. The capacity of the id is much less than the amount of libido that the baby comes into the world with (enormous amount)
