Research in this area is complex and ambiguous. Race, arrest, and the war on drugs. African-americans and hispanics no more likely to use drugs than whites. African-americans and hispanics are more likely to be arrested for drug offenses. Police resources are focused on communities w/ higher proportions of ppl of color.
