Document Summary

What happens when we have a new species that are separated from each other, Hybrids with low fitness will make a hybrid zone, where the hybrids are and then get back together forming hybrids? generated, but is narrow due to low fitness. Genes from one species to the other won"t spread really far. This occurs in nature where the hybrids die off or are infertile. Sometimes hybrids don"t die or aren"t sterile. Hybrid mating will occur and can happen in parental species. Can spread gene species from one to the other. You can find in nature, hybrid zones, where genes move from one species to the other due to isolation of the populations. Hybrids may have physiological properties making them superior. Hybridization can produce polyploidization and instant speciation. Speciation will lose the number of chromosomes, were some produce polyploidy individuals or don"t. Enough matings with the chromosomes, you can make a polyploidy individual that will survive.
