And hoover and his views of government intervention were no longer tenable in government system. Wwi veterans showed up in mass calling for bonus. (bonus army episode) bonus came to vote, voted down, vets go mad. Hoover called on dangerous man, douglas mcarthur, to clear bonus army without violence.
