If you do not detect adequate breathing within five to (cid:327)(cid:326) seconds, you will have to breathe for the person. Give two rescue breaths to give rescue breaths follow these steps : keeping the airway open (cid:345)with head-tilt, chin-lift method(cid:346), pinch the nose to keep air from escaping. Cover the person"s mouth completely with your mouth, making a seal: blow into the person"s mouth slowly, watching for the chest to rise.
