Ideological revolutions shape the world for the past 200 years. Scientific revolution that occurred in the seventeenth century. The power of human reason is capable of understanding anything. Lies at the heart of the idea itself. Made a way for themselves in the world. They resent the way in which the societies they are apart of in the 18th century into the early 19th century still give special privileges to certain groups. Everyone in their view should be treated the same. Everyone should be subject to the same laws. Everyone should have the same economic abilities. Everyone should have the ability to express their views freely. People have a natural right to life, liberty, and property. If they try to do so the people have the right to get rid of the ruler. John locke says it lies in these rights. Rulers have a social contract with the people they govern.
