People use them, for the most, for some kind of pleasure. People of all ages tend to use them. In the media, sex toys are usually brought up when there are problems in the relationship. Therefore, they are not normalized; rather, used as an escape or a solution to a problem. There are even things like fake feet for people who may have a fetish about them. People will find a way to simulate, even if there weren"t any sex toys. These things include things like coke bottles that some people may end up in the hospital for using. For that reason, having sex toys actually helps make things safer for people.
