Know it cleanses the lymph before it the lymph is returned to the blood. Spleen where the blood borne pathogens meet the adaptive immune response. Has many t and b cells in it. Galt this is the gut associated lymphoid tissue is ready and able to control the gut microbes if the wall of the gut is compromised. Malt mucosa lymphoid tissue this is tonsils, the adenoids, they help protect the respiratory tract. This is something that induces the activation of the adaptive immune response.
