Every child is different, but generally there is a range, some kids completely skip a step. Child"s intentions some kids just like to move around and others just sit around. Brain maturation the brain has to be ready. Child"s (cid:271)ody the body has to be in exact proportions. Environment locked up and not allowed to move you will be delayed, some cultures encourage deprivation of movement and other promotes motor development. Proximodistal arms to finger, control your arms so you can control your hand etc. Prereaching reaching to cheerios first few months of life. Ulnar grasp whole hand to grasp but not pick up something 3-4 months. Transfer objects from hand to hand 4-5 months. Reaching becomes fluid far less clumsy 6-7months. Pincer grasp pick up shit 9-12 months. Proprioception our sense of movement and location in space, arising from stimuli within the body.
