Better at identifying faces of own race/ethnic group. Prosopagnosia- inability to recognize faces, but okay with other objects. Fusiform gyrus- region in right hemisphere for identifying faces. Thatcher illusion- more difficult to identify faces upside. Easier to identify anger on mens face, and happiness on. Adaptive advantage because of the nature of male woman"s down crimes and aggression.
