In the long wavelength it"s a lot easier to see the spiral stars and the bright star in the galaxy. The long wave length makes it more clear and focused on the galaxy. In the short wavelength it is easier to see the stars outside the spiral arms. The short wavelength also makes the spiral galaxy easier to see.
