Tasting notes top 3 first, then chronological. Glenlivet single malt scotch, xx5 750 ml may 3, 2016. Appearance: clarity clear, intensity light to medium, color amber, but with a heavy yellow tint, body medium to heavy. Nose: condition clean, intensity light, aroma characteristics little caramel, barrel, oak, maybe honey, maturation well aged 25 years in barrel. Conclusions: one of the best things i had all semester. It was sweet, and had a pleasant taste and aftertaste. If it wasn"t so expensive i might have to treat myself once in a while. !2: clarity hazy, leaning towards dull, intensity pale to medium, slightly colored, color muted green brown color, almost syrupy, body light to medium. Leopold"s american small batch gin (1405/1427) (40% abv 80 proof) january 19, !3: clarity clear, intensity water white, color colorless, clear, body medium. Nose: condition clean, intensity light, not too strong or overpowering, aroma characteristics strong alcohol s, maturation short aged.
