If the workers feel they have choices they will feel empowered: impact: the degree to which the worker can influence strategic, administrative, or operating outcomes on the job. If the workers feel they can influence outcomes they will feel empowered: internal commitment: when workers are committed to a particular project, person, or program for individual motives. Important for complex, difficult tasks bc they require full concentration and effort: compliance can be satisfactory outcome as the group members will execute the task but not with enthusiasm. Good for routine tasks: resistance means the tactic did not work and the group members procrastinate or even refuse to execute the task.
