Fordism- based on principles by henry ford involving mass producion, based on assembly line techniques and scieniic management, together with mass consumpion, based on higher wages and ad techniques. Neo fordism- the logic modiied by the addiion of more lexible producion, distribuion and markeing systems. Flexible producion systems-lexibility both within irms and between them. Within irms, new tech. now allows a lot of lexibility. Just in ime producion- employs verical disintegraion within a large, formerly funcionally integrated irms such as car manufacturers. Verical disintegraion- evoluion from large, funcionally integrated irms within a given industry toward networks of specialized irms, subcontractors and suppliers.
