Anthropology: study of human societies and cultures and their development. Study of human physiological and biological characteristics and their evolution over time. Studies assumption we share with others in the community that we can most rely on making sense. Culture: set of distinctive spiritual, material, intellectual, and emotional features of a society or social group. Represents collective wisdom and social heritage of a group and is used to make sense of an individual"s surroundings. Some can be subtle and complex such as . Cultural identity: feeling of belonging to a distinct cultural group. Perception of self and others based on the social groups one belongs to and experiences with that group. +example of factors: birth right, financial wealth, career, status in community, social class structure. Worldview: literally a few of the world a framework of ideas and attitudes about the world from a specific cultural standpoint.
