Treated with insulin: type ii- the pancreas cannot secrete enough insulin, which results in high blood glucose and high lipid levels. Modifiable risk factors for cvd: hypertension, tobacco use, physical inactivity, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, obestiy, elevated ldl and triglycerides and low hdl, elevated inflammation biomarkers.
