The shining: camera on big wheel following danny before he sees the twins. Poseidon was filmed in front of a green screen: only real thing was the jogger. Filmed in continuous shot (camera follows on tracker) Film noir: unique american genre, all characters are both good and evil: ex: touch of evil, use of crane to see all action happening. Two story lines converge, car bomb couple and newlyweds. Communicates that the two plots are woven together.
