Evil is not a problem to be solved intellectually, it is a force to be conquered. Therefore the best strategy is to keep your eyes on the one who conquered evil. The more you examine evil the more you are drawn to it. Intellectual inquisiion makes people more subjecive to succumbing to evil. If you take evil too seriously then you get caught in it. A sense of humor in relaion to evil is intended because we know that evil has already been conquered. The answer to the problem of evil is the whole of the chrisian faith. Conigure yourself to that conquest of evil rather than try and derive the soluion on your own. If you make a claim that something is evil, you are already invoking the soluion because that means that the world is not predetermined, and that there is free will. Life isn"t just a meaningless train of physical causes, one ater the other.
