Una points out a tower to redcrosse, which is where her parents are. Summary (100-150 words max): the dragon, and redcrosse sends una away from the fight. After several attempts, redcrosse learns he cannot penetrate the dragon scales with his sword. The dragon throws redcrosse into a well that happens to be the well of life, and leaves him there overnight. Redcrosse, and he is ready to go in the morning. They fight more, and redcrosse falls into another stream. This one flows from the tree of life. The next day, redcrosse stabs the dragon in the mouth and kills him. Noteworthy passages (including those discussed in class): the importance of redcrosse falling into the streams and una praying is to illustrate that redcrosse cannot defeat the dragon on his own, even being so holy as he has become.
