Some people view it as a gender phenomenon: race & racism: Institutional racism: systematic domination of the majority group of the minority group, usually though unfair practices within corporations, legal systems, political bodies, cultural life, etc. White privilege: unearned cultural, economic and social advantages possessed by those who are white or considered to be white by others. When the bough breaks: comparison group, control group. Education: prenatal care/medical care, hormones/genetics stress, diet & exercise. Income: what you"re receiving; what you bring home from your employment/profession: wealth: the total value of what you have (assets); the combined sort of worth of everything you own.
