Lone dissenters were not accepted: they had an illusion of invulnerability they never had any problems with. Fixing groupthink: leaders are impartial encourage and consider objections, divide the larger group into small groups to create discussion and different thoughts on what should happen/could happen, invite outside experts to raise objections. Risky shift stoner: proposed after discussion of group decision making, they will shift towards a more risk decision than they originally would have. Defining group polarization: people don"t always shift to riskier decisions, sometimes they shift the other way, whatever the originally standing, it will become stronger after discussion, cautious discussion more cautious, risky discussion more risky.
