People were put in a pitch black room with a small dot of light. Participants were asked how much the light was moving even though the light was stationary it just looked like it was moving. The people did it by themselves: the guesses were 1in, 2in, and 7in. Those that did the test alone got it right every time. The actor is the learner; the participant is the tea(cid:272)her.
