Caspase 1 is good but caspase 11 is too strong and can coagulate blood. Lps can be injected into a cell and activate caspase 11 so it has to be something internal that activates it. Injected fluids must be sterile and lps-free (pyrogen free) Horseshoe crab blood will coagulate in the presence of any amount of lps. Lps can also alter the light diffraction of lipid droplets when added. It goes from a bipolar pattern to a radial pattern. Endotoxins are lipids so they are heat stable. No toxoid vaccine for lps because lps cannot be denatured. Exotoxins are proteins so they can be denatured by a toxoid vaccine. A-b toxins or active binding toxins are a form of exotoxins. B part binds to receptors in the body.
