The canonization of the field of sociology and other fields is a social construct itself. We can create new thoughts and ideas based on the canon. Shows how this works as a sort of chain. Canon and what we read changes over time. Has been criticized over the past 40 years. Now he has disappeared i. e. the canon has changed. The analysis of a set of facts in their relation to one another. Theory is a contemplative and rational type of abstract or generalizing thinking, or the results of such thinking. Depending on the context, the results might for example include generalized explanations of how nature works. The word has its roots in ancient greek, but in modern use it has taken on several different related meanings. Theory as sense-making of what goes on around us.
