Theories can be defined as guides to understanding, allowing us to. Control(sometimes) our environment and all the different things we encounter everyday. Are often taken for granted because they come natural to us, requiring minimal effort or thinking. Are not discussed or shared because we subconsciously hold these theories. Often, there is no real explanation or discussion point for native theories, because it is just our own personal understanding of what we"ve accumulated since birth. Are difficult to change because we aren"t very aware of them due to the fact that our theories were formed through various stimuli, not just one thing. If someone doesn"t smile a lot, they aren"t friendly. Are not taken for granted, as they are questioned and studied.
