Document Summary

Andrew vogel and greg bufford introduction to music. Ravi shankar- bhimpalasi: bhimpalasi is a hindustani classical raga which is a traditional music of india. It is very soothing but it is not something i would listen to. It sounds like sitar and table has been used to produce this music. I hear another instrument playing but i don"t know what it is. Japanese coto consort- kyo no warabeuta: i am not familiar with the instruments that have been used in this music piece. It sounds like sitar too but i"m not sure. The music sounds like its old traditional music. Traditional- sado okesa: a female singer was singing in very high pitch and it sounded like she was in pain and she was crying. I didn"t understand the tone of the music. It can be sad since the girl sounded very depressed. It is mostly drums and a different kind of instrument.
