Eating disorders usually develop in adolescence or early adulthood. Usually occur with other illnesses, such as: depression, substances abuse, anxiety disorders. Has no real definition in the english language. For contextual purposes, it means: the psychological addiction to a behavior, belief, or habit that affects the body via the nervous system, or the mind. Anorexia nervosa: avoiding food and taking extreme measures to lose weight (e. g. , exercising compulsively) *difficult to control, but people feel as if they"re in complete control. Bulimia nervosa: recurrent uncontrolled binge-eating episodes follow by self- induced vomiting. These 3 eating disorders are sometimes connected to mental health issues. Depression is a serious illness that affects thoughts, feelings, and the ability to function in everyday life.
