The 3 monotheistic biblical religions, christianity, judaism, and islam. Original bible: was created by jews, is the old testament for christians, was in hebrew then translated to greek becoming the old testament. The new jewish christians added the new testament, in. Jews knew the one true god, before jesus came into picture: jews need the hebrew/original bible, old testament. Christians believe jesus is the way to the one true god: hence the new testament. Christians are gentiles though they were christian jews in the 1st century. But by the 2nd century jews rejected that faith. Gentile christians = catholics, need the bible in translation. Bible greek for the book: not just the thought/word of man, but the word of god. Basis of both religion is in the bible. New testament, as the last chapter of the story, holds the clue to the whole story. Christians feel that this is what"s missing in the jewish bible.
