Geneic pre disposiion: there is a possibility that the thalamus is involved. Hypopituitarism: range of causes, pituitary dwarism(hormone growth deiciency) Epithalamus: link cortex and the limbic system, olfactory relex. Subthalamus: more relaion to basal ganglia than the thalamus, hemibalism if damage.
