Child found to have been extremely isolated which was found to have caused developmental delays. At adulthood was in a mental home. Had nurture, so she was able to develop into a normal child. Prolonged early isolation makes it difficult for a child to be fully socialized. Stages of organic development are related to the stages of socialization. Long intimate training by a significant other is essential to developing a sense of self.
