Summary: for todays class, two guest speakers from the vera house incorporation came in to discuss abusive behaviors with the class. The class began with a game similar to myth busters where the guest speakers put information regarding abuse in relationships on the whiteboard. Our job was to predict whether this information was true or just a myth. Once we did this, we began another activity in which all students received a card. We we required to count how many letter f "s were on the card. Several students got different results despite all of us having the same exact card. To conclude class, we discussed the four types of abuse; verbal, emotional, physical and sexual. New learning: today the most important thing that i learned is that alcohol and stress are not the most common causes of abuse in a relationship.
