Huge frontal bone that is fused together: prosimians have a suture down the middle of the skull. The mandible is fused, fused mandibular synthesis: prosimians have a suture in the mandible. Post orbital closure bony plate behind the eye socket to protect the back of the eye. Nails on all digits: prosimians have the grooming claw on second digit. Decreased reliance on olfaction: prosimians have a more prognathic snout sticks out. All diurnal except for one species increased reliance on vision. Anthropoids have a single chambered uterus: prosimians and tarsiers have a bicornuate uterus two sections. Anthropoids and tarsiers have the promontory branch: pathway for the circulation of blood to the brain in the middle ear. Provisioning: give them food in order to see them, but this did not provide a view of them in their natural setting, created competition for false resources.
