Buon fresco: murals being painted on a still wet plaster sruface; binds pigments to wall. Fresco secco: murals being painted on a dry surface; no need to rush and paint fast. Granulation: minute granules or balls of precious metal fused to underyling farms. Repousse: way of painting; artist gently pushed up relief forms by hammering from the back of a thin sheet of gold. Characterized by manufacture of bronze tools and weapons. Agriculture, herding, crafts, trade, built fortified town and hillside burial chambers using local stone. Nude women - conformed to the same design system. Produced own grains, olives and other fruits, cattle and sheep. Core of an elaborate new one built after terrible earthquake. Staggered levels allowed for daylight and fresh air to enter.
